Carla Olson is one of the most underrated artists out there. It never fails to amaze me how many times I get into music discussions with Americana and rootsy-type aficionados who have never heard of her or The Textones, but they were a great LA band.
I know, it’s early 80s sterile production, but you can still feel this woman’s soul.
