I had the opportunity to see Carlene Carter in concert back on March 27, 2009. She performed a set at the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake, WI. Carlene Carter sang a mixture of songs of her newest album Stronger along with her own past hits and some Carter Family classics. This included a rendition of the famous Ring of Fire song that her mother June Carter wrote. She was accompanied by one other bandmate who played piano. The closing song of the show say Carlene by herself on the piano singing the title cut “Stronger.”
