The Leavers are a Austin, Texas based band that formed in 2012. If their debut album, Once Upon a Time is any indication, they have a promising future ahead of them. Their website label’s them as a “roots-rock/Americana” band, and as far as classifications go that seems pretty appropriate. There’s a American Aquarium/Lucero feel to their sound, which translates well across the ten tracks on Once Upon a Time.
Standout Tracks: “Miss Ohio” & “Clay Pigeons”
