From Sun209: Chuck Mead of BR5-49 recently wrapped up recording “Back at the Quonset Hut,” recorded entirely at the Music Row landmark. The Quonset Hut was the site where “El Paso,” “Crazy” and “King of the Road” were recorded.
It’s an all-covers album featuring some of the session players from the studio’s heyday.
