Contest: Win a Copy of Leon Russell’s Album “Life Journey”
Leon Russell’s career as musician and singer-songwriter has spanned roughly a half-century, from his teen years playing in a band with JJ Cale, to backing up everyone from Freddie King to the Byrds and Glen Campbell; collaborating with Newgrass Revival, Nashville Symphony, and Elton John; and, of course, a slew of incredible solo albums.
This week, he releases his 37th album, titled aptly Life Journey, one day before his 72nd birthday. (You can read his interview with Henry Carrigan for more of Russell’s insights on his life and career, and this release.)
To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with the fine folks at Universal Music to give away a couple autographed copies of Life Journey to two lucky ND members.
