Contest: Win the Best of Leon Russell
NOTE: This contest is now closed. Congratulations to our winners: Janis Kury and Marjorie Armstrong! And thanks to everyone who entered. Stay tuned to our contests page for more information about upcoming contests and more chances to win great music.
Leon Russell has had a heck of a career, spanning more than four decades and including session work with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, and so many more. He’s had huge hits as a songwriter, and even recorded with the Nashville Symphony. Last year, Elton John renewed interest in Russell’s career by teaming up with him for a remarkable record titled The Union (which made at least a few of the year-end lists for the Best of 2010, posted by members of the ND Community).
Now, Russell is gearing up to release The Best of Leon Russell – a 16-track collection of songs from across his entire catalog (including some recorded with Willie Nelson, Elton John, and Marc Benno).
We’d like to give away a copy of this – and much more – to two lucky ND community members. This is where the contest comes in…
