    Derek Spencer Releases “Mustard Seed”

    Kentucky singer/songwriter Derek Spencer had been refining his craft since 2010, when he began playing folk music under the moniker The Rooster’s Crow. Spencer’s style blends folk, Appalachia, and gospel to produce a soulful and melodic blend of Americana music. 

    Recently Derek “Doc” Feldman of Shaker Steps Productions filmed Derek and fiddle player Rachael Yanarella in a “one-take” live video performance.” Standing in a park, armed with an acoustic guitar, Spencer shows why everyone should be excited about the release of The Rooster’s Crow’s debut album, “Winter’s Limbs” in late 2016.
