• donation sites for recording artists

    lately i’ve noticed some of my favorite artists financing new releases by donations. is there one central website for this or is it an individual set up? i just missed a chance to help finance greg trooper’s new cd. anybody have any information on this? i think it’s a great chance to support and help out new and existing artists in the music community. what does everyone else think?
