Drake White, Will Hoge Bring The Power at Nashville Dancin’ (Nashville, Tenn., June 26, 2014)
A hazy summer evening in Nashville was a perfect setting for some amazing music. After kicking off his set with “Simple Life,” Drake White let out a loud “oooommmmpaaa,” “playing on the river tonight Nashville!” Drake White if you don’t know him, is a soulful singer from Alabama and brings so much passion and power to his set that he’s garnered the nickname “Stompy,” as he literally ‘stomps’ a hole in the stage. He set is so high powered he melted my notes from the show.
Closing out the show was Nashville’s favourite son and torch bearer of everything right about the music business. “Long Gone,” “Daddy Was A Gambling Man,” and “Never Give In,” prove that Hoge is the real deal, crowd pleaser and genuine bad ass songwriter. “Man I do this because it’s incredible, and I’m so blessed to have fans like these people out here.”
Stay tuned for more great music from Drake White and Will Hoge.
