Wow, it sounds like we are about to lose a true legend – Etta James’ doctor is asking for prayers as she is in the “end stages” of her illness. What’s weird is I had just been doing an interview with Beverly McClellan of “The Voice,” and we talked about her being an influence. And how if she could only choose one person to sing with, it would be Etta.
She also told me that neither she nor Christina knew that the other was such a fan of James till after she was picked by Aguilera to be on her team. It’s a strange world.
