FRESH TRACK: Tom Sykes – ‘What Were You Thinking’

A Long Hard Road is a celebration of experience, created with some of the most talented musicians of a generation, including Grammy winners Kevin McKendree and Tony Braunagel, Grammy nominee Teresa James, and award-winning producer Terry Wilson. The album embodies a theme that speaks to the heart of every listener: the search. Sykes creates levels of connection and layers of truth. Ultimately, that is the foundation upon which all landmark albums are built: truth.
Born in Virginia, Tom Sykes was discovered and nurtured by none other than the legendary John Hammond, one of the most important figures in 20th-century popular music, responsible for launching the careers of such music idols as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Aretha Franklin, among others. Hammond was one of the very early inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
