On the 5th of August my wife and I attended a fantastic concert at Train in Aarhus, Denmark. First one hour with Dawes that was much more than a warm up. They’re a great tight little band with some marvellous songs and marvellous playing. Loud applause and very well deserved.
Afterwards Conor Oberst came on board. First time I’ve seen him, but I have most of his records no matter in which disguise and under which name. He gave a host of his great songs but could all the same have sung tens of other songs. Fantastic energic performance and brillant baching from Dawes much to Conor’s satisfaction. That was easy to notice.
