    Grievous Angel: The Legend of Gram Parsons makes its Toronto debut at Hugh’s Room, June 26.
    It’s a theatrical concert, based on my interview with Gram in March 1973. Turned out to be his last recorded conversation, as he OD’d six months later. Bits and pieces of the interview were used in Gandalf Hennig’s documentary “Fallen Angel” and the Rhino anthology of 2006. But there are overlooked excerpts–
    Gram railing on about Nashville, Chet Atkins and Waylon Jennings–which I will be posting on our website, www.legendofgramparsons.com, in the near future.
    Meanwhile, come out to see our show. Anders Drerup is terrific in the role of Gram Parsons, and Kelly Prescott is a wonderful Emmylou Harris.
