    Sometimes the word artist is used casually as a collective noun for Singer Songwriters. I use the word in every aspect of the meaning of art when I describe Dave Sharp as an artist, he is an artist in sound and word and his pallet is the guitar. Dave is my guest on the show this week. We look forward to the first amasing songwriters festival happening 31st Aug 1st Sept in beautiful Strathpeffer here in the Highlands. I feature Eddi Reader, Davy Cowan, Kate Dunn, The Whiskys, Fash Stewart, Dean Owens & Alice Bentley, + Dave Sharp gives us a couple of live songs and his insight into the acoustic music scene of the UK.
