Introducing a New Way to Read No Depression’s Print Journal

Current print subscribers will automatically receive digital versions of our Summer 2020 journal on May 18, with the print edition arriving in the mail around the same time. No change in price; just more value for your buck! We invite new subscribers to explore our print + digital option at the existing $68/year as well as our new digital-only offering for $36/year (4 quarterly issues).

Here are our subscription options now:

Print + Digital Subscription: This is the current print subscription at $68/year (pay annually or quarterly). You still get a new print issue every quarter but now will also receive digital versions via email at no additional cost. You will receive your Summer 2020 digital version on May 18, and print around the same time.

Digital-Only Subscription: This is a new option. For $36/year (pay annually), you will receive the digital version of our journal each quarter. Preorder now and receive Summer 2020 digitally on May 18.

Digital issues are sent to each subscriber’s email address in PDF format, which means you can read them on your phone, tablet, or computer. To help keep the price low and inform you of root-music-related offers, each digital issue will include advertisements (no junky ads or spam, we promise!). Our printed journals will remain ad-free as always.

Digital is a new offering and process for us, but we are confident that it will be a smooth and welcomed addition for you. As an independent music journalism outlet and part of the FreshGrass Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting roots music, No Depression largely relies on subscriptions to keep going and growing. The best way to support No Depression is to become a print + digital subscriber. However, we are proud to add a digital-only alternative to reach more readers and help you read our stories in whatever format fits you best.
