Sam Beam and a new full band premiered the excellent new record, Kiss Each Other Clean start to finish live on WNYC this past Wednesday. The show lasted over an hour and also contained a funked up “Boy with a Coin” and a positively transcendent “Naked as we Came”. As usual, Sam’s lyrics are deeply felt, visceral, frequently biblical, and always uncompromising. This line stuck with me long after the song was over.
