    Loving the sounds coming from the San Francisco Bay area band Or, The Whale. Mining classic alt-country (if there is such a thing) sound textures and fusing them with a harmony-filled indie rock sensibility, Or, The Whale’s Light Poles and Pines comes across as a less quirky Camper Van Beethoven, or perhaps a more cheerful American Music Club.
