    From the Country Standard Time (countrystandardtime.com) web site: George Jones and the Stanley Brothers placed songs on the National Recording Registry’s list of 25 culturally significant recordings. The Librarian of Congress picks sound recordings annually to include on the registry.
    Rank Stranger by the Stanley Brothers (1960) and He Stopped Loving Her Today, from Jones (1980) made the list.
