This week we’re highlighting a handful of discs that share one thing in common: our reviewers loved them. Starting with Keb’ Mo’s latest – a double-disc live recording that features a number of favorites from his BLUESAmericana record, and more. There’s contemplative singer-songwriter fare from the great underknown Jay Bartell. Afro Celt Sound System delivers some more of their inimitable genre-bending grooves, and we dig into the newish Appalachian old-time of the Evie Laden Band rounds out the bunch.
