    Here in the roots music world, we sure do love family bands – whether they’re blood-related like the Everlys or the Carters, or whether they’re families of choice like the Watkins Family Hour. So, that’s where we’re turning our spotlight this week, honing in on family-style country and folk harmonies, respectively, from the Cactus Blossoms and Clay Parker & Jodi James. We’ve got great new music from the greater Levon Helm family – Professor Louie & the Crowmatix – and an album from Eric Bibb that taps the figurative family tree sprouting from Lead Belly’s influence.
