    I just about wept that I was only allowed to photograph one song of the fierce Patti Smith’s set at Hardly Strictly, as with so much going on that pretty much meant I should take my camera and go elsewhere (Elvis? It all runs together…). I had never seen her live before, but had long heard that when she is hot, she’s hot. Opening with Dancing Barefoot, she knocked my socks off. Have any of you seen the video of her doing a song on… I think it waqs The Electric Company, back in the day? Pretty. Freaking. Great.
