Waka Waka Waka
Blogging from Mulberry Mountain would be the perfect birthday present, not only for myself (5-30), but if I were to win, my friend Jake has a birthday the next day! What’s a better way to spend the day we came into this strange world, than to blog about awesome live music and arts from WAKARUSA. I remember sitting in main stage field listening to the The Black Keys, thinking how life would have been in the 60s, when larger gatherings began to take place. I also vividly remember the night sky being lit up with thousands of glow sticks as the Disco Biscuits played Mirrors! A slightly skunky smell filled the Revival Tent as Slightly Stoopid dubbed up the crowd. An amazing set from Widespread, while lanterns drift until the eye can no longer see. I’m ready for a return.
