Lincoln Foley Schofield Debuts New Video “McCarren Park”
Lincoln Foley Schofield is an artist that is grabbing our attention; and with good reason. The New York City based artist releases intriguing and breathtaking pieces that keep us coming back for more.
Premiering his new video today for “McCarren Park,” named after the infamous Brooklyn landmark, the piece is off of his forthcoming record, due out later this year.Lincoln wrote the song as a farewell to the park he had lived his life around for a decade. Moving out of Brooklyn to create Forever Wild, a recording studio he built out of his father’s 200 year old stone house in upstate New York, which had been an organic farm, he found his perfect recording space. This is where Lincoln was born and where the song was recorded.
The video is a dream like montage of life in and around the famous Brooklyn park that has been the center for hipster life as the borough has grown dramatically over the past decade plus. The minimal production is simply Lincoln on acoustic guitar and lead vocals featuring long time collaborator Caitlin Gray on bass and harmony vocals. Dive into the epic new tune for your viewing and listening pleasure.
