Spend your summer Fridays down in the financial district! For seven weeks in a row, the plaza in front of 7 World Trade Center is your break room during the lunch hour for jamming out! Last week, the excited crowd; filled with tourists and locals alike, listened to the musical styling’s of My World, on a gorgeous afternoon.
The alt-rockers played an eclectic mix of covers and original songs; many from their latest album All Shapes & Sizes. The 3-piece band comprised of Chris Munger, John Montalbano and Leo (drums) have been playing together for years. The duo of Mr. Munger (guitars) & Mr. Montalbano (lead vocal/bass) have written together for multiple television soundtracks.
Standing out in the mix of songs was the crowd pleasing “Devil Went Down to Georgia.” The easy going group, a combination of Foo Fighters, Phish and 60’s classic rockers (The Who) reveled in the fan admiration at this perfect venue to get ‘backstage with the band!’
