Both mentally and physically exhausted, Cody drove us from Seattle to Missoula, Montana. While stopped at one of the many Casino/Mini-Marts in Missoula, Cody decided to give himself a break and let Joe take over. With caffeine pumping and a driven attitude Joe delivered The Crooks to Big Sandy, Montana; our destination for the next 24 hours.
“We’re really doing it!” Cody said as we made our way out of Washington. To say it is just a quick trip to Montana would be selling our story short. This is officially Cody Beebe and The Crooks’ first national pod tour as a full band. Although our tour only spans a weekend, it is truly monumental for us as a band. With the van loaded down from the weight of seven crooks and a bearded man we made our way over The Cascades and The Rockies.
As the van pushed on and the clock moved forward we reached a milestone in our trip. We found our Montana Sunrise! We stopped to stretch and take in the view of the Missouri River in the morning light. Look out Montana, The Crooks have arrived!
