More Evidence ND Was/Is Ahead of Its Time
Troy Olsen made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Sunday. eight years after No Depression told you so, sort of.
You may know him, now, from the semi-ubiquitous, and blissfully summer-mindless, “Summer Thing,” with which EMI Nashville switched on the launch machine. Make of it all what you will, but a) he really is a country boy/ranch hand from rural Arizona (crackerjack golf game notwithstanding), and b) I dare you to deny his voice.
Here’s Troy, from the archives.
