It’s a funny time of year – it’s easy to feel lonely, homesick, or left out. But music is the answer – all kinds of great music. Music is mysterious, abstract, romantic, sublime. Music expresses the human soul. Listening to records from my childhood can bring out the tears… In a good way. So many memories, people gone. So much love and good times.
Good music is the answer to so much pain and the partner to so much joy. We tend to hear too much music these days through crappy sound systems – a lot of bad music written and produced by people who just want to make a buck, who don’t put any of their soul into the work.
It’s rare I get to take the time to just put on some music and let the real vibes sink in. Ah, Christmas!!
