It’s already a pretty stacked summer music season, but Neil Young is adding some fuel to the fire with the announcement of his new album Hitchhiker. Out August 4, the album features previously unreleased music recorded in 1976.
The albums’s 10 tracks were recorded in one session at Malibu’s Indigo Studio and include acoustic versions of Young classics like the title track and never-bef0re-heard songs including the powerful ballad “Hawaii.” The album will be available digitally as well as on CD and vinyl.
