If you’d like to help support Strings Attached in some way, we have a new opportunity for you. Starting now and up to our Spring recital in mid-April, you can pledge support for Strings Attached first student CD, “Eternal Songs.”
We’re hoping to send students to the recording studio later this year to record American roots music songs such as “Arkansas Traveler,” “Salty Dog Blues,” “Simple Gifts,” “The Crawdad Song” and others. The students will play solo, small ensemble and jug band with support from professional adult St. Louis backup recording musicians for this project.
Students will get educational experience with project completion from start to finish: rehearsal, recording techniques to graphics and CD production.
You can help by pledging financial support at Kickstarter and by spreading the word via Facebook, Twitter or telling friends, relatives, co-workers about the project who might have interest in helping.
