• New Supergroup Action Skulls Premieres “Feed My Hungry Heart”

    You may not have heard of the band Action Skulls, but you’ve likely heard of its band members. The Bangles’ Vicki Peterson, Lost in Space actor Bill Mumy, and Beach Boys touring drummer John Cowsill comprise the new supergroup, which will release its debut album Angels Hear on September 29.

    Ahead of the album’s release, the band has shared one of the album’s country-leaning tracks, the roots rocker “Feed My Hungry Heart.” The tune showcases the trio’s instrumental chops and vocal harmonies. “‘Feed My Hungry Heart’ has a honky tonk rock feel,” Mumy says. “It’s the tale of an insecure person demanding assurance of their worthiness from their partner.”
