Well, here we go into the final month of the year, with all its best-of lists, and other manner of countdowns. Once again, we’re turning our annual readers’ poll over to you folks. In lieu of what was, last year, a rather complicated points-and-rating system, we’re taking a different approach this time around.
If you wish to participate in voting, please respond to this post in the comments (all lists posted as separate blogs – or listed on Facebook or Twitter – will not be counted). So, without further ado, we’re calling for your personal votes for the 20 best albums of 2010. You have until Monday Dec. 13 to cast your vote. We’ll then compile a master list of the 100 most voted-for albums, and will re-present it in a voting widget, where you’ll be able to vote for your favorites of which we’ll post a list of the 20 most voted for titles. The final results of the 2010 ND Readers Poll will be posted on Dec. 28, 2010.
Anyone is welcome to vote. To vote correctly in the comments here, scroll to the bottom of this page, and place your list in the comment box, then click “Add comment.” Any album released between Jan. 1, 2010, and the present date qualifies. Anyone wishing to post a personal list as a separate blog (including videos or greater explanation of their choices) is absolutely free to do so. We only ask that you also include the stripped-down version in the comments here, so that we can be sure to count it toward the master list.
