Like the fall weather finally hitting much of the country these days, the pace of September’s Best of the Month playlist takes its sweet time. However, the sheer quantity of music released last month was among the most we’ve ever seen. No Depression internally tracked more than 100 roots music albums, covered more than a quarter of them, and included even more on this Best of the Month Playlist.
