After my YouTube Surprise a couple of days ago, I made a vow to google myself (LOL) on a more regular basis to try to see what was happening to me out there in the Wild West frontier of cyberspace. Well today, I had a much nicer surprise. An online listening party for me and another artist and a pretty nice review. Well let me just say it was a nice surprise for me and jeez, I’m glad this guy liked my music. (You’ll see what I mean if you read his other review) http://www.spartanburgspark.com/2009/03/listening-party-angela-easterling-and-leslie-berry/ I also was able to get a very nice lady who had used many of my tunes in her YouTube videos, to not only give me credit, but to also link to my website and she even bought one of my CD’s. Still no word from YouTube on where they obtained my music and what gives them the right to offer it for free without my consent. I’m definitely going to keep trying on that, if for no other reason than to make sure my songs aren’t used in something that would be inappropriate or offensive and thus reflect badly on me.
