Hey. Going to the first of three sold out shows tonight by Patti Smith at the Bowery
Ballroom on Manhattan’s lower east side. I have been hoping to see her perform for
years but especially after I had seen the documentary on her life several months ago:
‘Patti Smith–Dream of Life.’ I believe the film captures her essence. It explores her
family, her writing, painting and politics. Very inspiring film. It is my intention to post
a review of tonight’s show in the next couple of days.
