Paul Moody and the Revelators are like all of us and “Hate Being Alone”
I am in love with Paul Moody and the Revelators. The bands latest single “Hate Being Alone” is everything I think a song should be. The track winds slowly towards giant horns that feel just unexpected enough to thrill me every time. The instrumentation is poetic from the finger picked guitar to the mellow organ crooning in the back. The vocal cadence brings Paul Simon imagery if only for a second if I listen with my eyes closed. The bridge of the track hums with what I think is a flanger pedal on an electric guitar lending an unsettled wildness to an otherwise upbeat song. Keep an eye out for more from Paul Moody and the Revelators with the release of an EP in October. You can check in on this via the links below.
