Photo journal from the Americana Music Association Conference and Festival
Here are some photos of live music from the Americana Music Association Festival and Conference earlier this fall. It was a great networking event and I had many interesting interactions. It also served as a fine introduction to some of Nashville’s best music venues…The Basement/Grimey’s, Cannery Row, The Station Inn and, of course, the Ryman Auditorium. It was also a pleasure meeting No Depression editors Kyla and Kim and others involved in the community. Crossing paths with Pokey LaFarge, Larry Campbell, and Billy Bragg were other highlights. I caught up with Billy Bragg a few weeks later in Pittsburgh and had this photo taken.
