    Bill Kirchen is best known for his work with Commander Cody and The Lost Planet Airman back in the 60-70’s with a radio hit and crowd pleaser, “Hot Rod Lincoln”. Kirchen is said to have “one of the most distinctive, pure-Fender Telecaster tone guitar sounds in modern music”. AND he’s a nice guy. Here he is the middle of the guitar player showdown with Redd Volkaert and Albert Lee.
