Tift Merritt inviting everyone onto “My Boat” during the Walker Center set.

Tift Merritt debuted a new tune for the times we find ourselves in the midst of called “My Boat” that got a huge ovation at the end. The tune is adapted from a poem by Raymond Carver and is on her recently released Yep Roc Records “Stitch In The World” CD. Both Eric Heywood and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig did a fine job backing her up.
