Sunday. Who can take more music? I could! Sadly, I could not stay late as I had another gig Monday morning. It was a stunning day with fluffy clouds broken often by the sun. More great bands to go with more great weather (and more great food – totally the most i have eaten in weeks!): Woody Pines, Cave Singers, Anais Mitchell, Sean Hayes, T Model Ford, Jill Andrews, and Langhorne Slim. And, I am here to say, that there was no one there half as smooth as T Model Ford. Holding court backstage his gave Wendy of Wendy and the Lost Boys the old twinkly eye. She held out her hand with a proper handshake greeting. He said simply, by way of introduction, “I’m a ladies man.” I dare any of you to be that cool at 90. Somehow this story also jives with my observation that it was another fine day for women with guitars in short skirts and kickin’ boots.
