Darryl Rahn shows his emotion to the masses on his latest release entitled “Everybody’s Dancin'”. The track takes us back to the golden era of rock music. Its not easy to bring Harry Nilsson – esque pop music with guitar solos that wouldn’t be out of place on a record from The Band. While the track begs to be listened to on a yacht in Southern California circa 1974, it also brings a modern indie sensibility that seems genuine and effortless for Darryl to acheive. Lyrically the song tells a story that has been told a countless number of times before. What sets the song apart is the emotion behind the instrumentation. Even the power chords played at minute 3:19 would make KISS proud. But as soon as they finish ringing out we return straight back into the chorus that just makes everything feel good.
