As we impatiently await the record — and I await the St. Anne’s gig — and in addition to Wednesday’s WNYC radio set & interview, Mt. Stage has just re-broadcast it’s October 25, 2008 show at Town Hall that featured Rosanne where she also performed “Sea of Heartbreak.” Her set is currently available for streaming on the NPR Music web site. In that set she also performed Townes’ “Two Girls” that was not included in the radio broadcast. It was just the second time I had heard her perform one of his songs. Plus, during Billy Bragg’s set on the same show Rosanne sang with him a haunting version of “I Still Miss Someone” with just John on piano.
