Southern Rock Artist, Bari Leigh, Goes “Unchained” on National Tour

I had the pleasure of discovering up and coming Southern Rock artist, Bari Leigh, who recently kicked off her 40-city tour around the US in support of her debut album, Tonight, I’m Unchained, released last summer. Leigh co-wrote and produced the album over a two-year period, and teamed up with musician and producer, Blake Morgan (also owner of ECR Music Group), who mixed and mastered the album. Taking cues from icons Dolly Parton and Etta James, Leigh developed her own sound combining pop, country and soul.

In addition to her talent and beauty, Leigh is not just another pretty face.  She started her own label, Starfish Music, in her early 20s and currently operates under the umbrella of ECR Music Group. Watch out – she’s a force to be reckoned with both on and off stage!

I am currently obsessed with her track, “Never Come Back”, that showcases Leigh’s dynamic vocal range and sultry-southern girl power vibe, reminiscent of Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats”. With a mean guitar riff and some honky-tonk banjo playing, “Never Come Back” is definitely a great summer tune to throw on in your car with the volume turned way up!

If you’re lucky enough to be on Bari Leigh’s tour route this summer and fall, I would highly recommend that you run to get a ticket while you still can. I’m sure we’ll be seeing her music career going unchained soon as well!
