On her latest album, Hear My Call, Cristina Vane explores her roots and embraces the many places she’s from. Independence and self-worth are an ongoing journey, and sometimes they involve tough choices. In “Whims of Good Men,” Vane contemplates the meaning of balanced love and takes a step back from doing someone else’s bidding.
