Stream Moonsville Collective’s ‘Moonsville I’ EP
Moonsville Collective is an Americana band from California who writes songs that deal with the American experience drawing from simpler times and proving that good songs have the ability to speak, move, and save.
The five-piece – Corey Adams (vocals, guitar, banjo), Matthew McQueen (mandolin), Dan Richardson (dobro, vocals), Seth Richardson (bass), and Ryan Welch (vocals, guitar, banjos) – is dedicating the next year to recording and releasing four, five-song EPs beginning with the recently released Moonsville I which debuted on January 13th. With multi-instrumentalists and several songwriters in the band, they keep their Americana style variable, allowing for experimentation and the blurring of genre lines from the rock-tinged barn burner “Alright By Me” to the moving ballad “Always Enough” and the folk-infused “Laughing in the Rain.”
With this first installment, Moonsville Collective puts forth both the tough and the tender via quality songwriting, earnest vocal delivery, and fine-tuned musicianship that will undoubtedly leave you anticipating volumes 2, 3, and 4. Stream it in its entirety below.
