You may have noticed a little box on this site’s main page has been allotted for reviews ever since we launched the community a couple of months ago. It’s featured reviews by our No Depression writers, which have been posted on NoDepression.com. Soon, we’re going to switch lanes and turn the critic’s box over to you folks.
I’m pretty confident you pick up new CDs or download MP3s all the time by artists you know and love, or folks you’ve just discovered. I know you like the music, because you came here to talk to people about it. So tell us what you like and why – just create a blog post (choose “blog” from the “Quick Add” drop-down menu on the right side of your page and put the word “Review” in the title). In addition to the ND Community Spotlight – which, you may have noticed, is focusing on one remarkable community member each day – I’ll be regularly featuring your ideas and opinions about albums, songs, artists and live shows in the community critic’s corner.
So, have at it. As is true of any blog post you add to the site, you don’t have to write 20 paragraphs unless you really want to. Short blogs are just as good. As always, drop us a line if you have any questions.
