Texas Underground Singer-songwriter Jud Block Has a New CD in the Works

Texas singer/songwriter Jud Block is on the verge of releasing his 5th CD overall and his 3rd solo effort when the (tentatively titled) Souvenir Reflection is issued into the world this fall.  He has guaranteed that it’ll be a departure from his previous CDs, as it takes a more indie tack, with each tune being treated as a fully unique and disparate tale, that will better illuminate the literary quality of his songs while still adhering to a unifying theme of loss and separation.  

If y’all have yet to hear the music of this criminally overlooked artist, and are fans of Ben Nichols, Brent Best, Jason Molina, Eric Taylor, and that ilk, then you need to be on the lookout for this one as well as his brilliant release from a few years ago called Barroom Gravity.
