• The Smithsonian’s Traveling Roots Music Showcase

    Robert Santelli, a long-time associate editor at Backstreets magazine has developed what has been described as a unique multimedia exhibit for the Smithsonian. This spring, in Asbury Park NJ, this roots music exhibition will be hosted at the Asbury Park Public Library. The event, entitled New Harmonies, will run beginning March 12 through April 17. This will kick off a year of exploration into the history of music in the township, which was a popular resort location during the mid 1900’s.
