Truth & Salvage Co. has announced a second leg of U.S. tour dates in support of their self-titled debut album. The Los Angeles-based band wastes no time getting back on the road after a coast-to-coast summer trek that included festival performances at Bonnaroo, Stagecoach and High Sierra Music Festival, as well as, headline club shows and opening sets for The Avett Brothers and The Black Crowes.
Truth & Salvage Co.’s 12-track debut effort was produced by Chris Robinson and released on The Black Crowes’ label, Silver Arrow/Megaforce. Fans and music press alike have embraced the album. It debuted on the Billboard Heatseeker Chart the week of its release as music writers unanimously weighed in with reviews that drew comparisons to classic artists such as The Band, The Eagles and The Flying Burrito Brothers. The band also made headlines for the track “Old Piano,” which was co-written with Katy Perry and the unwarranted arrest of vocalist/songwriter Tim Jones for trespassing in his own hotel room in Visalia, CA.
Featuring four distinct songwriters and vocalists, Truth & Salvage Co. bring an impressive range to both their songwriting and live performance. Songs like “Call Back,” “Pure Mountain Angel” and “Brothers, Sons & Daughters” weave soaring four-part harmonies through soulful Americana balladry, while the rugged country rock found on show-stoppers like “See Her,” “Hail, Hail” and “Welcome To L.A.” adds a visceral dimension to the band’s striking repertoire.
