Tumbleweed Wanderers – So Long
Tumbleweed Wanderers started out busking the streets of Oakland, with a soulful howl of distant winds, they picked up a steady stream of eager ears, leading to performances at small bars and cafes, to becoming a major local headliner, selling out shows at the Bay Area’s best venues such as Great American Music Hall and Bottom of the Hill and recording their debut full-length album ‘So Long’ in July of 2012. Combining soul, folk, and rock and roll at times with sudden blasts of horns, ripping riffs, breezy keys and gospel backing vocals, to calm before the storm harmonies, bellowing harps, guitars and banjo, their debut highlights the range of these wandering, gather no moss musicians. Keep your eyes on the horizon, The Tumbleweed Wanderers are a gathering force.
