Umphrey’s McGee – Wakarusa 2013

I have been an avid Umphrey’s McGee enthusiast since I first heard them at Dave’s on Dickson in Fayetteville, Arkansas back in 2003.  Since then, I have considered and still consider myself to be the UMPHREAK in the world!  I have now been to 65 Umphreys shows over the past 10 years and as long as Ryan, Jake, Kris, Andy, Brendan, and Joel keep raging night after night I do not ever plan on stopping with this passion I have for amazingly eclectic band.  This band does it all, one second you will hear a heavy metal rift and literally 2 seconds later they will switch gears and hit you in the face with a psychedelic electronic jam followed immediately by a cool down jazz rift and then right back into Jake Cinninger melting your face and the faces of every person at the show!  Umphreys is and will always be my favorite live band in the entire world! Whatever you wanna call me UMPHREAK, UMPHLOVER, hell call me UMPHREYS MCGEE ENTHUSIAST EXTRAORDINAIRE every one of those is right on the money when it comes to me! I love this band with a fiery passion and will always be front and slightly left of center between Stasik and Jake at any show possible as long as these guys continue to RAGE-REST-REPEAT!
